Description
The AT-HDR-EX-70C-TX is a compact HDBaseT transmitter designed to extend 4K HDR video and audio over Category cable. It delivers 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma sampling and supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision. The transmitter carries AV, control signals, and power over a single HDBaseT link – simplifying installations.
The unit features visually lossless compression with no added latency to preserve HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 content. It supports multi-channel audio pass-through including Dolby and DTS formats. A front panel USB port enables firmware updates and front LEDs indicate power and link status for quick diagnostics.
Performance supports a 600 MHz pixel clock and color depth up to 12-bit for broad color fidelity. The device extends 4K HDR up to 130 ft (40 m) over Cat6/6A/7 and up to 230 ft (70 m) for 1080p. HDCP 2.2 compliance ensures protected content can be passed between source and display.
Connectivity includes an HDMI input and an HDBaseT RJ45 output plus captive screw connectors for power and control. Bidirectional RS-232 and IR pass-through provide remote device control over the same HDBaseT link. The transmitter also supplies remote power to compatible receivers via HDBaseT PoE.
This transmitter suits point-to-point AV extension in classrooms, conference rooms, digital signage, and small auditoriums. It is compatible with Atlona receivers and select switchers for integration into larger AV systems. The compact enclosure mounts in furniture, lecterns, or racks for flexible installation.
Installation is streamlined with rear-panel connectors for neat cable management and a link test button to verify cable and termination quality. The unit operates in 0 to 50 C ambient temperature and supports a broad humidity range. CE and FCC certifications back regulatory compliance and NDAA/TAA status supports procurement requirements.
