Description
The KAC-BAR-81 is a Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android compatible video collaboration bar designed to simplify meeting workflows and deliver consistent AV quality. It integrates camera, microphones and speakers into a single, compact enclosure to support click-to-join meeting experiences. The system is intended to provide clear audio and video for small meeting spaces and executive offices.
The unit features an EPTZ camera with 5x zoom and a wide 110deg horizontal field of view to capture participants and room content. Built-in speakers and a 6-microphone beamforming array provide full duplex audio with noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation and voice separation. Output is 1080p at 30 fps for meeting streams while the sensor supports Ultra HD 4K capture.
On the technical side the camera uses an Ultra HD 4K image sensor while delivering 1080p output at 30 fps and an adjustable camera position of +-15deg. The microphone array provides a pickup range of approximately 4.5m 15ft and the audio stack includes full duplex, noise suppression and AEC. Network features include TCP/IP IPv4, DHCP/static IP, SNTP time sync and QoS support including IEEE 802.1p/Q and DSCP.
Connectivity options include HDMI output to a display, USB 3.0 Type A host for touch LCD or BT USB dongle devices, USB2.0 Type-C device peripheral mode for BYOD, and a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port. Wireless options include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 and the system can operate as an ad hoc USB A/V peripheral for other UC clients. The device runs Android 12 and ships with the Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android application preinstalled for calendar integration and click-to-join meetings.
The KAC-BAR-81 is suited to small conference rooms, huddle spaces and executive offices where integrated audio and video reduce cabling and setup time. It supports content sharing and Teams casting from the desktop client while remote participants see and hear meeting room activity clearly. Its compact footprint and integrated mounting options make it practical for wall- or display-mount installations.
Installation and daily operation are straightforward – the unit uses a 12V/3A DC power input and a simple set of cables for network and display connectivity. A Bluetooth-managed remote control provides basic meeting control while three status LEDs show camera, mute and call state. Security features include TLS, SRTP and AES256 encryption and IEEE 802.1x network access control to support managed deployments.
