The ECS1552FP is a cloud-manageable Layer 2+ network switch designed for enterprise and campus environments. It provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ capability and a substantial 740W power budget to support a large number of powered devices. The switch supports both cloud and on-premises management options to fit different administrative and deployment models.

Key features include full Layer 2+ switching, a 176 Gbps switching capacity, and four dual-speed 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplink ports for high-bandwidth aggregation. All 48 ports support 802.3at/af PoE+ to power cameras, access points, and other PoE devices. The combination of PoE budget and SFP+ uplinks enables flexible topology choices and scalable deployments.

On the software side the unit supports multiple L3 features such as multiple IP interfaces, static IPv4/IPv6 routes, and ARP table management. Layer 2 features include VLAN tagging, 802.1Q, IGMP/MLD snooping, link aggregation and spanning tree. QoS features include eight priority queues, strict and weighted round robin scheduling, and DSCP/802.1p trust modes for traffic prioritization.

Connectivity options include 48 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports and four 10G SFP+ fiber uplink slots. Management and monitoring are available through EnGenius Cloud, SkyKey, ezMaster, and a local web GUI, plus SNMP v1/v2c/v3 and RMON support. LED indicators report power, fault, PoE status and link activity for rapid troubleshooting.

This switch is suited to dense enterprise deployments including wired access aggregation, IP surveillance systems, and campus distribution layers. Its 740W PoE budget can support large camera deployments and multiple high-power wireless access points without immediate external power injectors. The SFP+ uplinks support fiber backbone connections to minimize congestion and extend network reach.

Installation and operation are simplified through familiar management interfaces and standard protocols such as SSH, SNTP and Syslog. The unit operates reliably from 0°C to 50°C and under typical non-condensing humidity ranges. The ECS1552FP combines robust PoE delivery, high switching capacity and flexible management options to deliver a scalable campus-grade network switch.
