The ECW220 is a cloud managed Wi-Fi 6 indoor access point designed to deliver reliable dual-band wireless performance for managed networks. It provides concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios and supports the latest 802.11ax features to increase capacity and reduce latency. The low-profile enclosure simplifies deployment in ceilings and mounted locations while maintaining enterprise-grade wireless performance.
Key features include OFDMA, MU-MIMO, spatial reuse and target wake time to improve multi-client efficiency and power management. The AP supports up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 1,200 Mbps on the 5 GHz band for mixed client environments. A 1 GbE RJ-45 port with 802.3af PoE input enables flexible placement and simplified cabling.
Technical capabilities include a 2×2:2 radio chain, integrated omni-directional antennas with 4 dBi gain on 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi gain on 5 GHz, and transmit power up to 20 dBm per band (regulatory limits apply). The device supports SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO spatial streams and a wide range of modulation schemes up to 1024-QAM on 802.11ax. Channelization supports HE 20/40/80 MHz on 802.11ax and VHT 20/40/80 MHz on 802.11ac.
Connectivity and management options include multiple SSIDs (8 per band), 802.1q VLAN tagging, spanning tree support, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 and remote cloud management. Security features include OWE, WPA2 Personal, WPA3 Personal (SAE), WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise and MAC filtering. The AP also supports client isolation and SSH tunnel for secure administrative access.
Typical deployments include small and medium enterprise offices, retail environments, classrooms and hospitality spaces where managed Wi-Fi and centralized control are required. The ECW220 supports managed AP and AP mesh modes to scale coverage and simplify topology changes. Its combination of Wi-Fi 6 features and cloud management makes it suitable for dense client scenarios and IoT device support.
Installation is straightforward – the unit accepts 802.3af PoE or 12 VDC power and mounts on standard ceiling rails or wall fixtures. The compact footprint and IP67-rated enclosure provide environmental tolerance and long-term reliability. Firmware updates and monitoring are handled via the cloud management platform to streamline lifecycle maintenance.
