The ECW120 is a cloud managed indoor wireless access point designed to deliver reliable business-class Wi-Fi across dual bands. It implements 802.11ac Wave 2 technology to increase throughput and client capacity for modern networks. The unit is engineered for managed deployments and remote monitoring using the EnGenius Cloud platform.

Key features include MU-MIMO and beamforming for improved multi-client performance and signal focusing. The AP supports up to 1.3 Gbps aggregate throughput using 2×2 radios and VHT80 channelization on the 5 GHz band. Mesh functionality and PoE support enable flexible placements and resilient topology options.

Performance specifications include up to 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz under ideal conditions. Transmit power is rated up to 23 dBm per band and the radio supports two spatial streams for SU-MIMO and MU-MIMO operation. Channelization supports VHT 20/40/80 MHz and HT 20/40 MHz as required by 802.11n/ac standards.

Connectivity includes a single Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port with 802.3af PoE input and an optional 12 VDC power jack for alternate power sources. Management is provided via EnGenius Cloud for device register, configuration, remote monitoring and troubleshooting. VLAN tagging, multiple SSIDs and enterprise authentication options ensure compatibility with existing network infrastructures.

This AP is suited to small to medium offices, retail environments, classrooms and light hospitality installations where managed Wi-Fi is required. It supports up to eight SSIDs per radio to separate guest and corporate traffic and offers WPA3 and WPA2 security options. Mesh capabilities allow extension of coverage without running additional wired drops to every location.

Installation is straightforward using PoE for single-cable power and data and includes mounting hardware for ceiling and wall mounting. The low-profile enclosure and integrated omni-directional antennas simplify placement in finished spaces. EnGenius backs the device with firmware support and a two year warranty for business deployments.
