The APO-SKY-MIC is a companion add-on ceiling microphone designed to integrate with the Apollo Video Bar ecosystem. It mounts discreetly to the ceiling to keep tables free from microphones and cables. The form factor delivers a professional, uncluttered room appearance while maintaining reliable audio capture.

Equipped with four circular microphone arrays and omnidirectional pickup, the unit supports Automatic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and Automatic Gain Control (AGC). The microphone supports full duplex operation and includes a visible mute indicator for simple control. A USB-C port is provided for firmware upgrades to keep system performance current.

Audio performance is optimized across a 100~10KHz frequency response with a sensitivity of -26dBFS and a signal-to-noise ratio of 62dB. The array pickup provides reliable capture out to approximately 3m under typical room conditions. These specifications ensure clear speech intelligibility in small to medium sized meeting spaces.

Connectivity is provided via an 8-pin RJ45 input and an 8-pin RJ45 output to allow daisy-chaining with compatible devices. The microphone is powered by the APO-VX20-UC or the COM-MIC-HUB to simplify installation and system design. Users can cascade microphones up to three times when pairing with the APO-MIC-EXT and observe CAT6 cable length limits as specified.

The APO-SKY-MIC is suited to conference rooms, huddle spaces, and lecture halls where ceiling-mounted audio capture is preferred.
