The CP-AOCU/CH-15 is an active optical USB-C to HDMI cable designed to deliver reliable 4K video over long plenum-rated runs. It converts USB-C source signals to HDMI display signals while preserving EDID and HDCP information. This cable is intended for installations that require minimal signal loss and robust EMI/RFI immunity.
The cable supports up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and a high data rate of up to 18Gbps, enabling pristine video and multi-channel audio. It carries embedded audio including PCM 8-channel, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The connectors are 24K gold-plated to reduce corrosion and maintain consistent contact quality.
Technical performance includes HDCP 2.2/1.4 support, HDR capability and broad color space compatibility including RGB, YCbCr and BT.2020. The optical hybrid construction uses polymer insulated glass fibers and tinned copper conductors to balance signal integrity and power needs. The cable is thin at approximately 4.7mm diameter and features a 20mm minimum bending radius to ease routing in tight spaces.
Connectivity is provided via a USB-C terminated source and a male HDMI Type A display termination, each fitted with gold-plated contacts.
