The CP-AOCDP/UF is a DisplayPort 1.4 active optical cable designed to deliver high-resolution video and multi-channel audio over long plenum-rated runs. It provides 8K@60Hz video capability and supports modern DisplayPort features to maintain signal integrity across extended distances. The cable is thin, flexible and intended for installations where fire-safe plenum cabling is required.

Key features include support for HBR3 data rates, Display Stream Compression (DSC) and HDCP compliance to enable protected content. The hybrid optical construction reduces weight and bulk while maintaining up to 32.4 Gbps aggregate throughput. The cable requires no external power and draws necessary power from the DisplayPort connector on each end.

Performance specifications include support for 8K@60Hz resolution at 48bit color depth and a maximum data rate of 32.4 Gbps. Audio support covers up to 8 channels of 16bit or 24bit linear PCM at sampling rates from 32 to 192KHz. The fiber core uses 4x850nm multimode fibers combined with copper conductors to carry auxiliary signals and power.

Connectivity is provided via male gold-plated DisplayPort connectors and a hybrid cable structure combining fiber and copper conductors. The cable construction includes a plenum-rated outer sheath in PVC black with a 4.8mm overall diameter. It supports EDID, DPCP and HDCP 2.2 for broad compatibility with source and display equipment.
