The VP-558 high-quality ProScale Presentation scaler is capable of outputting four
independently scaled images. Each output has an HDMI and HDBaseT connector. The matrix
switcher allows analog, digital, and embedded audio. It features six HDMI inputs, four
HDBaseT inputs, a 4×1 USB switcher, and an analog VGA input. It also has a microphone
input, a monitor output, independent stereo audio outputs, an amplified speaker
output, and audio DSP features.

The scaler supports output resolutions up to 1080p/UXGA. Controlled via front panel
buttons with OSD, Ethernet, RS-232, and built-in Web pages. It features upgradable
firmware. It has non-volatile memory for saving the last settings. The unit has a
built-in power amplifier and multiple aspect ratio selections.
The unit is HDCP compliant and HDTV compatible. It sends HDBT inputs and outputs up to
a distance of 70m (230ft). Use Kramer’s BC-HDKat6a cable, to achieve optimum range and
performance via HDBaseT™

Note: The transmission range depends on the source, display, and signal resolution
used. The distance may not reach these ranges with non-Kramer CAT 6 cable.
