Description
The PTC-600GW is a 4K auto-tracking PTZ camera engineered for broadcast and large-venue AV production. It combines a 1/1.8″ Sony CMOS sensor with a 30x optical zoom to capture detailed 4K imagery at a distance. The camera uses AI natural tracking to keep presenters and performers centered automatically.
Key features include 30x optical zoom, 4K60 output over HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, PoE++ (802.3bt) support, and NDI|HX3 streaming capability. The unit supports simultaneous HDMI and 12G-SDI outputs plus UVC USB output for flexible capture methods. Low-light sensitivity, image compensation, and minimized lens distortion preserve clarity for text and stage details.
Technical performance is driven by the Sony 1/1.8″ CMOS sensor delivering approximately 8.42 megapixels and a S/N ratio around ?55dB. The camera supports 2160p up to 60fps via HDMI/12G-SDI and multiple 1080p/720p formats for SDI, while offering 30x optical and 4x digital zoom for an effective zoom ratio near 31x. Exposure and focus modes include Auto, Manual, and One Push while shutter ranges from 1/30s to 1/10000s.
Connectivity covers HDMI 2.0, 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, RJ45 1G (802.3bt PoE++), USB-C UVC output and dual XLR plus 3.5mm audio inputs. Control options include IR, RS-422/RS-232, VISCA over IP, DVIP, ONVIF Profile S, and compatibility with Datavideo controllers and apps. Streaming protocols supported include RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT, Multicast, and NDI|Hx3.
The PTC-600GW is ideal for lecture halls, houses of worship, corporate auditoriums, and live performance venues where unattended auto-tracking and high-resolution capture are required. Its tally LEDs on front and rear simplify live production signaling while presets and smooth pan/tilt motion provide repeatable framing. The pan range is 340 degrees and tilt covers -20 to +105 degrees for flexible camera placement.
Installation is simplified by PoE++ which supplies up to 90 W over a single Ethernet cable to power imaging, motors, and AI features. The camera is built for stable professional operation with near-silent pan/tilt motors and a compact housing in white finish. Firmware updates are available via Web UI or USB-C to maintain compatibility and add features.
