The HS-1650T is a compact, all-in-one production studio that combines multi-input switching, streaming, recording, audio mixing, monitoring, and PTZ camera control into a single portable unit. It is designed to streamline live production workflows by consolidating essential broadcast functions in one rugged case. The system targets event producers, educators, and conference operators who need rapid deployment and reliable output.

Key capabilities include four video inputs (3 HDBaseT + 1 HDMI), four program outputs (3 HDMI + 1 HDBaseT), a 14in touchscreen for direct control, and an integrated auto-tracking PTZ camera controller. The unit features Picture-in-Picture, logo and subtitle overlay, a built-in H.264 recorder for SD cards, and dual-stream encoding to common CDNs. Auto-tracking uses PID-based speed adaptation and selectable framing presets to deliver smooth, broadcast-style camera moves.

On the video side the HS-1650T supports progressive and interlaced HD formats up to 1080p 60Hz and supports 4:4:4 10-bit sampling for accurate color. Streaming uses H.264/AVC with configurable bitrates up to 10 Mbps and audio encoded in AAC-LC at sampling rates up to 48 kHz. Recording is MP4 to FAT/exFAT/NTFS SD storage and the device provides de-embedded audio, a 4-channel built-in audio mixer, and headphone monitoring for real-time audio checks.

Connectivity is centered on HDBaseT for video, power, control, and tally over a single Cat cable up to 100 meters, plus HDMI loop-out for external monitoring. Control options include the 14in touchscreen, a joystick for PTZ operation, web browser UI and socket commands for streaming control, and compatibility with Datavideo RMC controllers for quick framing selection. The HS-1650T also supports SRT and dvCloud integration to improve stream reliability over challenging networks.

Typical applications include live event streaming, lecture capture, corporate presentations, houses of worship, and remote site broadcasts. The integrated recorder and encoder allow simultaneous local recording and dual streaming to services like YouTube and Facebook, while the auto-tracking and preset recall reduce the need for dedicated camera operators.
