The integrated HS-1650T controller features a 14-inch touchscreen and built-in recorder, enabling real-time PTZ control and immediate file capture to SD cards. Key production features include program switching, picture-in-picture, a four-channel audio mixer, and a 17.3 inch multiview monitor for program and source monitoring. Firmware upgradeability allows the platform to receive feature enhancements without changing hardware.
Video processing supports full HD resolutions including 1080p/1080i/720p and both 50Hz and 59.94/60Hz frame rates with 4:4:4 10-bit sampling across inputs and outputs. The PTC-145TW PTZ cameras use a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor and offer 20x optical zoom plus 8x digital zoom for detailed framing at distance. The system encodes streams in H.264/AVC and supports multiple streaming protocols such as RTMP, SRT and HLS while recording MP4 files to local media.
Connectivity is centered on HDBaseT to deliver video, power, control and tally over a single Cat6A cable up to 100 meters to each camera. The HS-1650T accepts three HDBaseT inputs and one HDMI input and provides three HDMI program outputs plus an HDBaseT program output and a network stream output. Audio integration includes two balanced XLR inputs and stereo RCA inputs plus de-embedded digital audio support and a headset output for monitoring.
This package is well suited to corporate presentations, lecture capture, houses of worship and large meeting rooms where a compact crew or single operator must manage multi-camera coverage. Auto-tracking makes it simpler to follow presenters moving around a stage while the touchscreen gives quick access to camera framing presets and picture-in-picture layouts. The included camera framing presets allow rapid selection of full-body, half-body or close-up shots.
Installation is simplified by HDBaseT cabling and a preconfigured control environment – plug Cat6A for each camera, connect sources and power, then use the touchscreen and on-screen controls to assign presets and start streaming. The HS-1650T ships in a reinforced plastic case and is designed for 0 to 40 degrees C operation, offering a practical balance of portability and professional feature set. Regular firmware updates and web-based configuration provide long-term maintainability and integration flexibility.
