The WP-20CT is a wall-plate 2×1 switcher and HDBaseT transmitter designed to simplify AV presentations – it automatically selects between USB-C and HDMI sources and extends video up to 40m over twisted pair. The unit integrates Maestro room control functions to reduce room setup time and improve user experience. Built-in PoE acceptor and optional 20V power support provide flexible powering options.

Key features include USB-C DP Alt Mode input with PD support, an HDMI input supporting HDCP 2.3, and a long-reach HDBaseT output for single-cable extension of video, audio, control and power. The WP-20CT supports automatic input switching using priority or last-connected rules and allows manual override via a local button. The unit also supports audio de-embedding to feed local speakers and multichannel audio passthrough for surround formats.

Performance supports up to 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) at a 10.2 Gbps data rate and full HD distances up to 70m using Kramer HDBaseT cables. HDMI compatibility includes deep color, x.v.Color, lip sync, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD as specified by HDMI 2.0. The device complies with HDCP 2.3 and 1.4 and provides reliable RS-232 extension for control and automation.

Connectivity is straightforward: one USB-C input, one HDMI input, one RJ-45 HDBaseT output, stereo analog audio output on a 3-pin terminal block, and two RS-232 terminal block ports for extension and device control. Powering options include the supplied 12V DC adapter, optional 20V DC supply for up to 60W USB-C PD charging, or PoE from a compatible HDBaseT source. Local management is available via USB-C web interface and firmware updates via USB-C or RS-232.

The WP-20CT is ideal for podiums, lecture halls, training rooms and meeting spaces that require a compact, wall-mounted source selector and long-reach extension. Its automatic display control via CEC simplifies presentations by powering displays on and off according to source connection state. LED indicators and Maestro presets minimize setup time and reduce operator errors during events.

Installation is fast and unobtrusive – the module fits standard EU/UK and US single-gang wall boxes and connects over a single twisted pair cable for video and power delivery.
