The WM-8D is an 8in two-way wall-mounted PoE Dante speaker designed to deliver clear, full-range audio for professional indoor environments. It integrates a built-in amplifier, DSP and mixer to provide configurable loudspeaker performance across music, paging and speech applications. The unit supports PoE power delivery and Dante networked audio for simplified distribution and system design.

Key features include two-channel mixing, parametric EQ, high-pass and low-pass filters, input compression and output limiting for controlled loudness and protection. The speaker also provides a Find Me tone to identify individual units during setup and maintenance. PoE auto-negotiation supports PoE++, PoE+ and PoE to match available network power.

Acoustic design uses a 200 mm (8in) polypropylene LF driver with rubber surround and a 25 mm (1in) liquid-cooled soft-dome tweeter to cover 60Hz to 20kHz (-10dB). Sensitivity is 90dB SPL at 1W/1m and the unit provides up to 100dB continuous SPL and 105dB peak on PoE++ power. Frequency response is 79Hz to 20kHz (+/-3dB) and dispersion is approximately 124 degrees between 1kHz and 4kHz.

Connectivity and control include a Dante RJ-45 network port, factory reset button and API compatibility for third-party control systems. The WM-8D integrates with Kramer Control and can be configured using Kramer Speaker Manager software for DSP presets and power management. PoE power classes are supported to match network switches and power injectors.

Typical applications include boardrooms, conference rooms, restaurants, retail spaces, control centers and large Dante networked audio installations. The speaker suits mixed background music and paging deployments as well as speech-centric conferencing spaces that require networked audio and centralized control. Multiple units can be mixed and controlled across the Dante network for consistent coverage.

Installation is simplified by the included EasyMount bracket which allows vertical, horizontal or corner mounting and the enclosure includes standard 75mm VESA threads for additional mounting options. The grill is powder-coated steel with a removable logo and the enclosure is made from V-0 flame retardant materials to meet UL1480A compliance. Operating temperature, storage limits and humidity ratings support typical indoor AV environments.
