Description

The WM-6D is a 6.5 inch two-way wall-mounted Dante speaker designed for networked indoor audio applications. It combines a built-in amplifier, DSP and mixer to deliver intelligible speech and music playback across PoE networks. The enclosure and grill are engineered to blend into professional interiors and comply with indoor safety standards.

Key features include Dante network audio support, PoE auto-negotiation up to PoE++ and onboard DSP for parametric EQ, high-pass/low-pass filtering, input compression and output limiting. The speaker supports two-channel mixing and a Find Me tone to simplify installation and diagnostics. The unit is controllable using Kramer Speaker Utility and integrates with control systems via an open API.

Performance specifications include a 6.5 inch polypropylene cone low-frequency driver and a 25 mm soft dome high-frequency driver with ferrofluid cooling. The frequency range is 60 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) with a nominal frequency response of 84 Hz to 20 kHz (+/-3 dB). Sensitivity is 90 dB SPL at 1 W/1 m and maximum continuous SPL reaches 100 dB under PoE++.

Connectivity is provided via a single RJ-45 Dante port that also carries PoE power, and a factory reset button for recovery. The speaker supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ power classes with auto-negotiation to match available switch power. Control and monitoring are available through Dante management and Kramer control integrations for centralized operation.

Typical applications include meeting rooms, paging and background music installations, retail and hospitality environments, and command or control centers where networked audio and centralized control are required. The form factor supports vertical, horizontal or corner mounting to suit a variety of room configurations. The white or black finishes allow discreet installation in professional spaces.

Installation is assisted by the included EasyMount bracket and standard 75 mm VESA mount threads, enabling flexible mounting orientations. The enclosure is made from V-0 flame retardant materials and the grill is powder-coated steel with a removable logo for aesthetic customization. Firmware updates and DSP presets are managed via Kramer software to simplify commissioning and maintenance.
