The EVF-1122D/99-FGW is a fully weatherized two-way point-source loudspeaker designed for fixed installations where reliable outdoor sound reinforcement is required. It combines a 12in low-frequency transducer and a 3in titanium compression driver on a 90 x 90 constant directivity waveguide. The enclosure is fiberglass-coated over weather-resistant birch plywood to withstand direct exposure to sun, rain, fog and snow.

Key design features include a rotatable 12in x 12in constant-directivity horn, a high-output DH7N 3in titanium compression driver, and a DVX3121A 12in woofer optimized by FEA for low distortion and high efficiency. The passive crossover is a steep 24 dB/octave 4th-order network with an acoustic crossover frequency at 1,300 Hz and integrated high-frequency protection. An externally accessible jumper lets technicians select passive or bi-amped operation quickly on site.

Performance specifications emphasize clarity and SPL: the system offers very linear response across the vocal range with a quoted linearity of 49 Hz to 21 kHz +/-2 dB and calculated max SPL of 131 dB. Sensitivity is rated at 97 dB (1 W/1 m) and continuous power handling is 600 W with 2400 W peak capability. The EVF-1122D is engineered for fixed outdoor and indoor installs where arrays are required – the trapezoidal cabinet and rigging points allow vertical or horizontal arraying with other EVF/EVH series elements. It includes (22) M10 threaded suspension points for straightforward flown deployments and optional flying hardware for permanent installs. The unit meets IEC 60529 IP55 environmental protection and is specified for sustained humidity below 95 percent.

Installation and serviceability are streamlined through the exterior mode-select switch, rotatable horn, and durable finish that reduces maintenance in exposed environments. The fiberglass enclosure, stainless steel grille and corrosion-resistant hardware support longevity in coastal and high-humidity sites.
