The EVF-1122D/99-FGB is a fully weatherized, arrayable two-way point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver articulated speech and musical reproduction in exposed installations. It combines a 12in low-frequency driver and a 3in titanium compression driver on a rotatable 90 x 90 constant directivity horn. The enclosure is compact and trapezoidal, enabling flown or ground-stacked arrays and flexible orientation – vertical or horizontal.

Key features include a 12in FEA-optimized woofer and a DH7N 3in titanium compression driver with a 1.4in throat on a rotatable CD horn. The internal passive crossover uses 24 dB/octave slopes with integrated equalization and a dynamic protection circuit to protect both HF and LF sections. An externally accessible jumper allows easy selection of passive or bi-amp operation and a transformer kit can be fitted for 70.7/100 V distributed systems.

Performance metrics include a very linear response across the vocal range with stated response down to 49 Hz to 21 kHz and a usable range to 66 Hz (-10 dB). Calculated maximum SPL at 1 m is 131 dB and the system continuous power handling is 600 W with 2400 W peak. The acoustic crossover frequency is 1300 Hz and nominal impedances are 8 ohm passive and 8 ohm LF.

Connectivity is handled by a Phoenix-style input panel accepting up to 10 AWG and dual four-pin 10 AWG Phoenix/Euro Block screw-terminals are provided. A CDG dual-gland-nut input panel cover is included for weatherizing and the panel allows fitting of an NL4 cover plate if preferred. This flexible input arrangement supports both conventional low-impedance and weatherized installations.

Typical applications include exposed outdoor venues, houses of worship, small to medium stadia, and fixed-install systems where long-term weather resistance is required. The system is rated to IEC 60529 IP55 and is constructed to withstand direct exposure to sun, rain, heavy rain, fog, and snow. Salt content tolerance and sustained humidity limits are documented for coastal or marine-adjacent sites.

Installation and serviceability are simplified with (22) M10 threaded suspension points and optional flying hardware. The enclosure is 13-ply weather-resistant birch coated with fiberglass and protected by an 18 GA stainless steel grille with hydrophobic cloth. External switches and accessible input panels make mode selection and maintenance straightforward while stainless steel fasteners and paint finish improve long-term durability.
