The EVF-1122D/96 is a compact two-way, point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver clear, intelligible sound in medium-near to medium-throw applications. It combines a 12in low-frequency transducer and a 3in titanium compression driver on a rotatable constant-directivity horn to control coverage. The enclosure is trapezoidal and coated with a weather-resistant finish to extend service life in exposed installations.

Key features include a rotatable 90 x 60 constant directivity waveguide, a FEA-optimized 12in DVX3121A woofer, and a DH7N 3in compression driver. The integrated 4th-order crossover at 1,300 Hz uses 24 dB/octave slopes plus high-frequency protection and a dynamic protection circuit. An externally accessible jumper allows quick selection between passive and bi-amp operation.

Performance specifications include a frequency range down to 49 Hz (-10 dB) and linear response up to 21 kHz with maximum deviation of +/-2 dB. Sensitivity is 97 dB (1 W/1 m) and calculated maximum SPL is 131 dB. Nominal passive impedance is 8 ohm and recommended high-pass filtering is 65 Hz when used with external amplification.

Connectivity is provided via a Euroblock phoenix-style input panel sized for up to 10 AWG conductors, with optional PI and FG versions that include dual-gland-nut input-panel covers. The enclosure includes 22 M10 threaded suspension points and an EBK-M10-EVI kit of four forged eyebolts is included for basic rigging. An available transformer kit supports 70.7/100 V distributed systems.

Use cases range from fixed-install houses of worship and theaters to sports venues and hospitality installations where controlled horizontal and vertical coverage is required. The rotatable horn and arrayable acoustic and rigging design make the EVF-1122D/96 suitable for vertical or horizontal clustering with other EVF/EVH series modules.
