Description
The EVF-1122D/126 is a compact two-way point-source loudspeaker designed to deliver clear, intelligible reinforcement in fixed-install environments. It combines a 12 inch low-frequency transducer and a 3 inch titanium compression driver mounted on a 120 x 60 constant directivity waveguide. The enclosure is weather-resistant birch coated with EVCoat for improved durability in challenging environments.
Key features include a FEA-optimized 12 inch woofer, a DH7N 3 inch compression driver, and a rotatable 12 x 12 constant directivity horn. The integrated 4th order crossover uses 24 dB/octave slopes and includes HF protection and equalization to smooth vocal-range response. An externally accessible jumper allows quick selection between passive and bi-amp operation.
Performance highlights show a very linear frequency response from 49 Hz to 21 kHz with maximum deviation of +/-2 dB and a calculated maximum SPL of 131 dB at 1 meter. System power handling is rated 600 W continuous, 1200 W program, and 2400 W peak. The acoustic crossover frequency is 1300 Hz and sensitivity is 97 dB 1 W/1 m, supporting high intelligibility at long throw distances.
Connectivity is handled via a Phoenix-style Euroblock input panel that accepts up to 10 AWG cable, with optional dual NL4 gland-nut or gland-nut cover for weatherized installations. The unit supports passive or active wiring via the external mode switch and can accept an optional 70.7/100 V transformer kit for distributed systems. PI and FG versions provide enhanced IP protection on the input panel.
This loudspeaker suits a variety of installed sound applications including houses of worship, theaters, clubs, and outdoor covered venues where focused coverage and low distortion are required. The 120 x 60 coverage pattern and rotatable horn allow precise aiming of the soundfield while minimizing spill to adjacent areas. Multiple EVF and EVH models can be combined to form vertical or horizontal arrays for larger systems.
Installation and service are simplified by a trapezoidal enclosure with 22 M10 threaded suspension points and optional flying hardware. The cabinet is constructed from 13-ply weather-resistant birch and finished in black EVCoat textured paint for corrosion resistance. The grille is galvanneal with a hydrophobic screen and stainless steel fasteners to withstand environmental exposure.
