Description
The AT-OME-CS31-SA-HDBT is an integrated AV presentation and collaboration switcher designed to combine source switching, audio mixing, amplification, and USB peripheral routing into a single low-profile enclosure. This system accepts one HDBaseT input and two HDMI inputs and outputs video to a single HDMI display. It is intended to simplify AV installations where remote source extension, local switching, and onboard audio are required.
Key features include HDBaseT extension up to 330 ft (100 meters), two HDMI inputs supporting 4K/UHD, a four-port USB hub with host switching, and a built-in stereo amplifier capable of 2 x 25 watts or bridged 1 x 50 watts. The unit provides powerful DSP including mixing of line inputs, de-embedded HDMI audio, USB audio, acoustic echo cancellation, and ducking based on a balanced microphone input. Additional functionality includes PA mute, automatic display control, EDID management, and HDCP 2.2 compliance.
Video performance supports HDMI inputs at 4K/UHD 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR formats HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision. The HDBaseT input supports 4K/60 4:2:0 extension plus embedded audio, control, Ethernet, and USB 2.0 data. Audio processing routes mixed signals to both the integrated amplifier and balanced line output for assistive listening or external amplification. The USB subsystem integrates a local USB 3.0 type B host plus four type A peripherals and USB 2.0 over HDBaseT for remote host connectivity.
Connectivity options include dual Ethernet ports with an integrated network switch, two RS-232 control ports, two digital I/O ports for occupancy sensors or external triggers, CEC, and a 5V USB charging port. Automatic display control can operate via CEC, IP, or RS-232 based on activity or external occupancy sensors. Auto-switching selects active inputs on connection or power state changes and EDID management supports either the connected display’s EDID or internally stored EDID profiles.
Practical applications include classrooms and meeting rooms where a combination of local and remote sources, USB peripherals, and amplified room audio are required. The ducking feature lowers program audio when a lectern microphone is active and PA mute allows school announcements or emergency messages to override system audio. Integration with control systems or Atlona keypads and Velocity touch panels is supported for user interfaces and automation.
Installation is simplified by the unit’s low-profile enclosure for mounting behind displays or under furniture and included surface-mount brackets and captive-screw connectors. The system is Energy Star qualified for reduced power consumption and includes a supplied power supply. Overall build quality and onboard DSP make the AT-OME-CS31-SA-HDBT a compact, all-in-one solution for modern AV spaces requiring switching, USB routing, and amplified audio.
