Description
The AT-HDR-SW-51 is a 5×1 HDMI switcher designed to consolidate multiple HDMI sources into a single 4K/UHD output while supporting HDR formats. It is built to manage modern 4K HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG sources and to ensure reliable signal negotiation between sources and displays. The unit simplifies source selection in presentation and meeting spaces by combining high-bandwidth video support and automated input switching.
The switcher provides five HDMI inputs and one HDMI output with support for 4K/UHD at 60 Hz and 4:4:4 chroma sampling, as well as selectable downscaling to 1080p. It offers audio de-embedding to balanced analog and S/PDIF outputs so audio can be routed independently to an external audio system. EDID and HDCP 2.2 management are integrated to ensure proper handshake and to report compliance status to sources.
Technically the device supports HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps and a 600 MHz pixel clock, and it passes color depths up to 12-bit. Video processing can down-convert 4K/UHD at 60, 30, or 24 Hz to 1080p when needed while allowing full pass-through at 4K/60 4:4:4 and HDR when downscaling is bypassed. Multi-channel audio formats including PCM, Dolby, and DTS families are supported and can pass through or be de-embedded as required.
Connectivity options include Ethernet for web GUI control and Velocity Device Manager, RS-232 and IR for third-party control systems, five HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, balanced analog L/R, and S/PDIF out. The integrated web server enables GUI-based configuration of network access, EDID, HDCP, and signal processing settings. Field-updatable firmware and centralized management via Velocity simplify deployment and maintenance.
The HDR-SW-51 is suitable for conference rooms, huddle spaces, presentation lecterns, and local source switching into larger AV systems. Automatic input selection uses hot plug detect and active video detection to switch reliably when sources are connected or change power state. Its half-rack, 1U enclosure and included mounting hardware allow under-table, furniture, or rack installation in constrained spaces.
Installation is straightforward using the built-in web GUI or Velocity Device Manager and supports multiple control methods to integrate with existing AV control systems. The unit is designed for commercial AV use with CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications and supports TAA and NDAA-899 compliance. Built-in diagnostics and visual HDCP reporting help integrators confirm system behavior during commissioning and operation.
