Description
The PTC-325T is a 4K Auto Tracking PTZ camera that provides hands-free tracking and broadcast-grade video over HDBaseT. It delivers 2160p 50/60 output via HDMI 2.0 with YUV 4:2:2 color sampling and supports dual streaming for simultaneous CDN delivery. The camera is designed for live production and fixed-install AV deployments where reliable tracking and high-resolution output are required.
The camera features a 1/2.8 inch Sony CMOS sensor paired with a 30x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom to capture detailed images at long range. Built-in Auto Tracking identifies and follows talent automatically and supports designated-person tracking to avoid interference from other moving objects. A PID-based speed adaptation and an S-shaped speed curve ensure smooth pan, tilt and zoom moves without jerky motion.
PTC-325T supports multiple outputs including HDMI 2.0 up to 2160p60 YUV 4:2:2, HDBaseT (PoE) up to 2160p60, and 3G-SDI up to 1080p60. The camera uses advanced 3D noise reduction and offers a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux at F1.8 with AGC enabled. Electronic shutter ranges from 1/30s to 1/10000s and the S/N ratio is rated at 55 dB or greater.
Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, HDBaseT (PoE), 3.5 mm mic/line input, RS-422/RS-232, DVIP, and Ethernet streaming over RTSP RTMP(S) SRT and ONVIF. The camera supports RTMP(S) dual streaming and can stream to dvCloud or CDNs while offering H.264 H.265 and MJPEG encoding. Control is available via IR RMC controllers DVIP VISCA over IP and RS-422 enabling integration with switchers and control systems.
Typical applications include lecture capture where automatic tracking and PoE simplify installation, houses of worship where long zoom and low-light performance are required, and corporate AV for boardrooms and auditoriums where network streaming and remote control are necessary. The PTC-325T is also suitable for small broadcast and web streaming workflows requiring 4K capture and remote operation. The camera supports preset recall and framing options such as full-body half-body and close-up selections via the included controller.
Installation is simplified by PoE support and HDBaseT transmission over a single CAT cable carrying video power tally and control – reducing cabling complexity. The camera ships with a ceiling mount bracket an IR remote and a 12V DC power adapter and provides 255 preset positions for repeatable setups. The robust build and Sony CMOS sensor design deliver long-term reliability and consistent image quality across varied lighting conditions.
