The VTC-100 is an AI-enhanced PTZ camera designed to automate speaker capture and deliver professional Full HD video. It combines a close-up PTZ lens and a wide panoramic lens to provide full scene coverage and cinematic framing. The camera performs real-time voice-based speaker detection and precise auto-framing to reduce manual camera operation.
Its core capabilities include dual-lens switching, 12X optical zoom, and an 8-microphone array for accurate voice direction detection. The panoramic lens locates the active speaker and the PTZ lens locks in for a close-up shot with smooth pan/tilt/zoom motion. The system supports multiple tracking modes such as speaker tracking, auto-framing, presenter tracking, and zone tracking to match different room layouts and meeting styles.
Technically the VTC-100 outputs 1080p at up to 60fps and uses a Sony 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor to deliver clear imagery and reliable low-light performance down to 0.5 lux (F1.6, AGC ON). The camera supports WDR, 2D/3D noise reduction, auto/manual iris and focus options, and a 12X optical plus 16X digital zoom for detailed close-ups. Pan range is +/-130 degrees and tilt range is +90 to -30 degrees, with preset recall capacity up to 254 positions for consistent repeatable shots.
Connectivity covers SDI, HDMI, UVC, and NDI|HX3 over a single Ethernet cable, plus dual-stream H.264/H.265/MJPEG encoding for flexible streaming workflows. Supported streaming and transport protocols include RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT, ONVIF, and multicast, with audio codecs AAC and G.711. Control and integration options include VISCA, VISCA over IP, Pelco-D/Pelco-P, DVIP, ONVIF, RS-422/RS-232 and web UI management, with PoE IEEE 802.3af support to simplify installations.
The VTC-100 suits meeting rooms, classrooms, lecture halls and live event stages where hands-free speaker tracking and consistent framing improve production quality. Use it as a primary camera in a single-room conferencing setup or integrate it into a multi-camera broadcast and streaming system via NDI or SDI outputs. Its automatic tracking modes and presenter/zone configuration help keep focus on participants without a camera operator.
Installation and day-to-day operation are straightforward thanks to PoE support, preset positions, and compatibility with Datavideo controller hardware and the PTZ View Assist app. Firmware updates are handled via web UI, and the camera offers IR remote control for local adjustments.
