Description
The PTC-325T is a 4K PTZ camera designed for professional A/V, streaming and broadcast environments. It combines a 1/2.8-inch Sony CMOS sensor and a 30x optical zoom lens to capture high-resolution footage at up to 2160p60. Built-in Auto Tracking keeps subjects framed and in focus for hands-free operation.
Key capabilities include HDBaseT transmission, simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and HDBaseT/IP 4K output, and 3G-SDI up to 1080p60. The camera also supports dual streaming over RTMP(S)/RTSP/SRT and hardware codecs H.264/H.265/MJPEG for flexible delivery options. Auto Tracking uses an adaptive PID algorithm and an S-shaped speed curve to ensure smooth pan, tilt and zoom transitions.
The optical system offers 30x optical zoom and 16x digital zoom with an f1.8 wide aperture for improved low-light sensitivity. Image processing includes 3D noise reduction and back light compensation, and the camera achieves a minimum illumination of 0.5 Lux at F1.8 with AGC on. Pan range is 300 degrees and tilt range is +90 to -15 degrees with up to 255 preset positions for repeatable framing.
Connectivity is broad and professional: HDMI 2.0, 3G-SDI, HDBaseT (PoE) and a 3.5 mm audio input are provided alongside streaming over RTSP, RTMP(S), SRT and ONVIF Profile S. Control options include DVIP, VISCA over IP, Pelco-D/P, RS-422/RS-232 and IR remote interoperability. The camera supports PoE IEEE 802.3at for simplified installation and centralized power over a single CAT cable.
Typical applications include lecture capture, house of worship streaming, corporate events and OB/remote production where 4K image quality, remote control and reliable auto-tracking are required. The combination of HDBaseT and PoE reduces cabling complexity and enables long cable runs to a central control location. Dual-stream capability makes it easy to record locally while pushing a second stream to a CDN or local network recorder.
Installation is straightforward via PoE or DC power with web-based configuration and firmware update options. The camera integrates with Datavideo control systems and third-party controllers using standard protocols for multi-camera setups. Rugged construction and proven Sony imaging deliver stable performance in continuous operation scenarios.
