Description
The RE3-BPCL-5H is a bodypack wireless set built around a cardioid lavalier microphone and a diversity receiver – designed to deliver clear vocal capture and dependable RF performance. This kit operates in the 560-596 MHz band with a 36 MHz tuning bandwidth and PLL frequency control. The system targets professional AV and broadcast users who need stable wireless audio in crowded RF environments.
Key features include a cardioid lavalier capsule, ultrasonic sync between transmitter and receiver, antenna diversity on the receiver, and selectable RF power levels up to 50 mW. The bodypack transmitter provides LCD and LED status feedback plus controls for group, channel, sensitivity, attenuation and key lock. The receiver offers balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4 inch outputs, adjustable squelch and comprehensive display indicators.
Performance highlights include wideband FM modulation with ±48 kHz deviation, RF stability better than ±10 kHz, a signal to noise ratio greater than 100 dB(A) on the receiver, and THD under 0.6% at 1 kHz. Audio frequency response for the bodypack is specified at 63 Hz to 16 kHz ±2 dB and the handheld response is 51 Hz to 16 kHz ±2 dB. Receiving sensitivity is listed at -81 dBm for -12 dB SINAD which supports reliable reception in professional venues.
Connectivity and control are comprehensive – the receiver accepts detachable S-wave antennas on BNC connectors and supplies antenna booster power at DC 12-15 V/100 mA. Output options include a balanced XLRM and an unbalanced 1/4 inch TS jack with defined output levels for line and mic. The transmitter syncs settings like frequency, group, channel, sensitivity and RF power via ultrasonic sync to streamline setup.
Typical applications include live sound reinforcement, broadcast ENG, corporate presentations and houses of worship where clear close-mic vocal capture and stable wireless links are required. The cardioid lavalier reduces ambient pickup and feedback risk in FOH and broadcast scenarios. Multiple sets can be coordinated using the group and channel controls to scale deployments.
Installation and daily operation are straightforward – the bodypack runs on two AA cells or NiMH rechargeables and features charging contacts for dock-based charging. Rackmountable receiver dimensions fit standard shallow rack spaces and the system finish is a durable black polyurethane paint. Overall build quality and RF design prioritize reliable everyday use in professional AV environments.
