The PolarChoice PC Plus-18 is an 18-inch gooseneck microphone designed to capture clear speech in presentation and speech environments. It uses a dual-capsule electret condenser element that delivers consistent vocal clarity. The microphone is end-address and optimized for voice pickup on podiums and desktops.

The microphone offers user-selectable polar patterns – omnidirectional, cardioid, super-cardioid and hyper-cardioid – to adapt to different room acoustics and pickup requirements. A low-frequency roll-off control reduces rumble and proximity bass buildup to maintain intelligibility. The solid-state circuitry and electret capsule provide reliable, repeatable performance.

Performance specifications include a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 135 dB, which supports loud speech without distortion. The microphone requires 12 to 52 V phantom power and has an analog 3-pin XLR male output for standard pro audio connectivity. The end-address orientation and mono sound field are tuned for spoken-word clarity and natural tonal balance.

Connectivity is handled via a standard 3-pin XLR male base for direct connection to mixers, podium preamps and audio consoles.
