Description
The OMS OMNEO Main Station is a digital partyline intercom base designed to bridge legacy analog partyline systems and modern digital intercom networks. It provides a centralized communications hub that supports both wired and wireless beltpacks and keypanels. The unit enables gradual migration without requiring replacement of existing analog devices.
The OMS supports up to 40 OMNEO or ROAMEO beltpacks and up to 16 partylines, plus Ethernet connectivity over copper or fiber. It offers four AIO 4-wire analog ports and four 2-wire analog ports supporting RTS / Audiocom / Clear-Com formats. The 2-wire interfaces include auto nulling echo cancellation to improve two-wire clarity.
Available in five licensed models – Analog Only, Analog Plus, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced – the OMS scales capacity and features as needs grow. The Advanced license adds up to four RVON channels for remote networking and supports codecs G.711, G.729ab and G.722. OMNEO audio networking enables integration with RTS digital matrices and distributed systems for expansion.
The front panel uses an icon-based display and a simplified menu structure for system configuration and local control. Connectivity includes OMNEO networking ports, ROAMEO wireless base station operation via DECT, stage announce output and expansion audio ports for linking multiple OMS units. The system supports mixed keypanel deployment – up to eight keypanels in any OMNEO/analog/RVON mix with a maximum of four analog keypanels.
This station suits theater, broadcast, live events, houses of worship and industrial communications where combining analog partyline gear and modern digital intercom is required. It acts as a stand-alone ROAMEO base station while also interoperating with RTS matrix keypanels and beltpacks. The OMS simplifies migration projects by preserving analog investments while adding digital features.
The OMS is engineered for rack installation and front-panel operation with clear icons and menus to simplify configuration and daily use. Licensing permits stepwise feature upgrades without hardware replacement and the unit includes dedicated expansion ports for distributed system growth. Robust construction and standard Ethernet connectivity make it straightforward to integrate and maintain in professional AV environments.
