Description

The SSA-324 is a system-to-system intercom interface designed to connect different two-wire intercom systems and Audiocom platforms. It provides flexible conversion between two-wire and four-wire audio paths to maintain clear, routed voice links between systems. The unit is optimized for installations with steady user station counts and fixed configurations.

Key features include bilateral ducking, level adjustments, monitoring and nulling controls to manage audio levels and signal integrity. The SSA-324 contains two independent two-wire to four-wire converters and can be bridged to function as a single two-wire to two-wire interface. An optional call light board enables compatibility with RTS Two-Wire Intercom and RTS Audiocom tally systems.

Technically, the SSA-324 supports dual-channel operation when used as separate two-wire to four-wire converters and single-channel operation when the converters are interconnected at the four-wire level. The module offers on-unit level adjustment and monitoring facilities to assist with system matching and signal balancing. The product is available in a 110 V version only.

Connectivity is centered on analog two-wire and four-wire intercom lines and optional tally/call interfaces for integrating call lights or signals between systems. The interface is intended to interconnect voice and optional call/tally signals between disparate intercom systems without requiring complex digital conversion.
