Description
The SK41D-4TR is a secure, rugged 4-port HDMI / DVI-D KVM switch engineered for classified and austere environments. It provides isolation and hardware-based switching to protect signals against TEMPEST emissions while enabling operators to share a single console across multiple hosts. The unit is built to meet military environmental standards for vehicle, marine, and airborne installations.
Key features include NIAP PP4.0 certification for peripheral sharing devices and TEMPEST Level A compliance – rare in a single product. The switch supports HDMI up to 4K@30Hz or 2600×1600@60Hz and DVI-D up to 1920×1200@60Hz, plus two USB 2.0 channels for keyboard and pointing devices. Front-panel IP67 push buttons, NVG-compatible illumination and an optional remote control console provide flexible operator control.
Technical performance is hardened to MIL-STD-810G for vibration, humidity, altitude, sand and salt fog and includes an immersion rating to 3 meters freshwater. Power is nominal 28VDC with an operating range of 18V-36V and MIL-STD-1275E compatibility, with a maximum power draw of 40W. MTBF is rated at 65,000 hours at 40 degrees Celsius.
Connectivity uses circular D38999 military connectors for both host and console I/O – host: D38999/24WD35PN carrying 4x HDMI (DVI-D compatible) plus 2x USB 2.0; console: D38999/24WD35SN carrying console HDMI and 2x USB device connections. Optional composite or VGA host inputs and a remote WR40-4TR control are available. Video format support and connector pinouts are designed for secure, sealed installations.
The SK41D-4TR is intended for mission-critical applications where emissions security and environmental resilience are required. Typical deployments include command vehicles, naval combat information centers, airborne platforms and secure control rooms. The unit’s small form factor and rugged connectors simplify integration into existing racks and consoles while maintaining secure operations.
Installation and operation are straightforward with panel mount or rack options and IP67-rated front controls that are NVG-compatible. The enclosure and internal design follow MIL-HDBK-216 reliability practices and the device is BAA and TAA compliant. Firmware and maintenance access are controlled to preserve the NIAP PP4.0 security posture.
Overall, the SK41D-4TR delivers a combination of TEMPEST-level emissions protection, NIAP PP4.0 certification and rugged military-grade construction in a compact 4-port HDMI / DVI-D KVM switch. It is optimized for secure sharing of displays and USB peripherals where environmental hardening and classified data protection are mandatory. The design balances operator ergonomics, secure switching and field-proven durability.
