Description

The FV11PH-M is a secure 1-port DisplayPort/HDMI video isolator designed to enforce unidirectional video and audio flow between hosts and peripherals. It prevents host-to-peripheral bidirectional access that can be exploited for data exfiltration or malware injection. The device is certified to NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 for Peripheral Sharing Switch devices, meeting stringent security requirements for classified environments.

Key features include one-way video and audio transmission, manual EDID capture and parsing, and minimal EDID exposure to reduce attack surface. The isolator limits EDID data to essential fields only and stores a captured EDID after an explicit user action. Digital audio embedded in HDMI/DP is constrained by the uni-directional path to prevent re-tasking of audio lines into microphones.

Performance supports up to 3840×2160 at 30 Hz and HDMI 1.4-level signaling when operating in HDMI mode. The unit accepts either DisplayPort or HDMI inputs and outputs to a single display port type as required. Power is provided via an external 12V DC supply and includes a wall-mounted 90 to 240V AC adapter for global use.

Connectivity is straightforward: connect the computer display output to the isolator and the isolator output to the display. The unit isolates the computer and peripheral electrically and functionally so they cannot exchange data in the reverse direction. Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux, and Mac for compatibility with common workstations.
