Description

The Secure 1-Port DP/HDMI KVM Isolator provides one-way isolation of video audio and USB between a host computer and peripherals to eliminate data leakage. It enforces unidirectional data flow so peripherals cannot mediate back to a secured host. The product is certified to NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 PSD Protection Profile for validated separation.

Core features include an EDID capture mechanism EDID parsing and EDID minimization to prevent hostile EDID exchanges. Video and embedded digital audio are transferred only from the computer to the display and speakers while USB keyboard and mouse operate in a protected direction. The isolator also enforces audio directionality to prevent re-tasking of audio lines into input channels.

The unit supports DisplayPort or HDMI console connectivity and provides up to 3840×2160 at 30 Hz on both input and output. USB Type A console ports and USB Type B host ports handle standard keyboard and mouse devices. Power is supplied by an included wall-mounted 90 to 240V AC adapter with DC input 12V 1.5A maximum.

Connectivity includes a single DP/HDMI display interface USB keyboard and mouse connectors and analog audio for speakers or headsets. The isolator is compatible with Windows Linux and Mac environments and protects embedded digital audio delivered via HDMI or DP. EDID capture is performed once during installation using the EDID LOCK button to eliminate continuous EDID exchange.

Typical use cases include secure meeting rooms where untrusted guest laptops share a display controlled by a classified system secure control rooms in government or financial institutions and specialized environments requiring validated separation. The device prevents hostile peripherals or compromised computers from injecting data or exfiltrating information through display or USB channels.
