The SM80N-4 Secure KM Switcher is an NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 certified hardware KM solution designed for secure multi-system control. It lets a single keyboard and mouse operate up to eight independently connected computers and their displays. The device provides strong peripheral isolation to meet high-assurance environments and reduces desk clutter.
Key features include PP4.0 certification, a dedicated CAC smart card port, and integrated audio output with channel freeze capability – functionality focused on secure workflows. Cursor-based switching lets you move the mouse across adjacent displays to change active control instantly. Multi-monitor support enables up to four displays per computer when drivers are installed on Windows systems.
Technically the SM80N-4 supports USB keyboard and mouse connectivity using USB Type A and USB Type B interfaces and supplies up to 35W maximum power from an internal power supply rated for 100 to 240V AC. Operating temperature ranges from 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C) and storage temperature ranges from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C). The unit is built to operate in 0%-80% RH non-condensing environments and carries multiple product certifications.
Connectivity includes dedicated CAC port support, USB peripheral sharing, audio output with freeze control, and direct connections to multiple displays per source. Supported operating systems are Windows, Linux, and Mac for basic KM functionality, with enhanced multi-monitor features requiring Windows drivers. The switcher uses simple mouse cursor movement to change channels and offers secure peripheral sharing across systems.
