Description

The SM20N-4 Secure 2-Port KM Switch is a certified peripheral sharing device designed to provide strong isolation between two host computers while allowing a single keyboard and mouse to control both systems. It enables direct connection of separate displays to each computer and securely shares keyboard, mouse, audio and USB devices. The unit is NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 PSD compliant to meet strict security requirements.

Key features include secure peripheral sharing across different security domains, cursor-based seamless switching between systems, and support for multi-monitor configurations up to four displays per computer in duplicate or extended modes. The switch enforces multi-layered protections to mitigate peripheral exploits, information leaks, eavesdropping, signal transmission and malware. Built-in presets simplify common multi-display layouts and single- or dual-head systems.

Technically, the SM20N-4 provides two source connections and console USB ports for keyboard and mouse in Type A and Type B connectors. Power is delivered via an external 12V DC 1.5A supply with universal AC input 100 to 240V. The device operates reliably between 0° to 40° C and stores between -20° to 60° C while tolerating 0-80% RH non-condensing humidity.

Connectivity is straightforward – the console uses standard USB Type A and Type B connectors for keyboard and mouse and supports audio and USB peripheral sharing over the KM interface. Supported operating systems include Windows, Linux and Mac with advanced multi-monitor driver features currently available for Windows. Product certifications include CE, RCM, FCC class B, VCCI, TUV US and TUV Canada, and the unit is BAA and TAA compliant.
