Description
The SC82PHU-N is an 8×2 KVM combiner designed to consolidate peripherals and simplify multi-computer workflows. It enables a single operator to view and control multiple systems using two displays, a single USB keyboard and mouse, and analog audio connectivity. The device maintains electrical isolation between connected computers while enabling integrated control.
The combiner supports simultaneous display and control of up to four computers and can be cascaded to expand control to as many as sixteen systems. It provides 2 console display outputs and 8 computer inputs using DisplayPort or HDMI signaling where supported. Copy and paste and file transfer functions are available across connected systems using the KVM path without requiring a network connection.
Video performance includes support for UHD 4K resolutions up to 3840×2160 on both input and output channels. Peripheral connectivity uses USB Type A console ports and USB Type B computer ports with USB 2.0 throughput. Analog 3.5 mm audio jacks are provided for console audio in and out while microphone input is not provided on this model.
Console interfaces include two DP/HDMI displays, USB Type A for keyboard and mouse, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Computer-side connections include eight DP/HDMI video ports, USB Type B for KVM control, and 3.5 mm audio jacks. Power is supplied internally with universal AC input and maximum power consumption rated at 35W.
The SC82PHU-N is suitable for control rooms, broadcast monitoring, industrial workstations, and secure labs where multiple isolated systems must be monitored and controlled from one operator station. It reduces hardware duplication by consolidating peripheral sets and accelerates workflows through integrated clipboard and file transfer across connected hosts. The cascading capability supports scalable deployments where additional combiners can be added to reach larger system counts.
Installation is straightforward with rack-friendly dimensions and standard AC input compatibility from 100 to 240V. The unit is specified to operate between 0 to 40 C and to store between -20 to 60 C with non-condensing humidity up to 80% RH. The product is certified to multiple international standards and shipped with a two year warranty and a 10 year expected product life-cycle.
