The SC42PHU-4 is a secure 4×2 KVM combiner that merges KVM switching, multi-viewing and scaling into a single appliance. It allows simultaneous interaction with up to four host systems while presenting content on one or two HDMI displays. The unit is certified against the NIAP Common Criteria PP4.0 Protection Profile for PSD, providing enhanced assurance for sensitive environments.
Key features include multi-view layouts, a built-in scaler and flexible KVM switching between connected computers. The combiner supports custom view modes that can be recalled instantly to adjust the display layout. It also forwards keyboard and mouse control across sources and supports fUSB for USB device forwarding.
Video performance supports UHD 4K resolutions up to 3840×2160 on both inputs and outputs, preserving image detail for high-resolution sources. The device handles DP or HDMI host inputs and outputs to two HDMI console ports. Audio is provided via 3.5 mm analog jacks on both console and host sides for straightforward audio pass-through.
Connectivity includes four DP/HDMI computer inputs, two HDMI console outputs, USB Type A console ports for keyboard and mouse, USB Type B host ports, and fUSB Type A/B for USB device redirection.
