Description
The FV11H-MG is a single-port galvanic HDMI video isolator engineered to enforce electrical separation between a host computer and external displays. It provides complete galvanic isolation of DC and ground currents to prevent data leakage and signalling attacks. The unit supports up to 3840×2160 at 30 Hz and is PP4.0 compliant.
Key features include 3kV galvanic isolation, EDID protection through patented emulated technology, and firmware stored in ROM to eliminate firmware modification risk. The device blocks reverse data flow by design and supports unidirectional data paths for KVM versions. The isolator family can be combined with rack and power distribution accessories for integration into racks.
Technically the FV11H-MG uses HDMI 1.4 signaling and passes 4K30 video while preventing ground loops and DC leakage between connected systems. Power is supplied via a 12V DC input with a maximum draw of 2.5A. The enclosure measures 145 x 105 x 28 mm and weighs approximately 0.3 kg.
Connectivity is straightforward: one HDMI console port and one HDMI computer port follow HDMI 1.4 specifications. USB peripheral ports are not present on the FV11H-MG model while KVM variants of the isolator family offer USB isolation options. Supported host platforms include Windows, Linux and Mac.
Common deployment scenarios include medical imaging rooms, secure defence workstations and any environment requiring separation of vulnerable peripherals from secure systems. The device helps meet medical safety and EMC requirements when used with a medical grade power supply variant. It is suitable where EDID protection and prevention of signalling attacks are required.
Installation is simple and flexible: the unit fits desktop or rack installations using available RK-4U-HKS-10 rack kits and PDUI power distribution units. The compact metal housing and solid-state design provide reliable long-term operation and a product life-cycle of 10 years with a 2 year warranty. The FV11H-MG is intended to add a hardware layer of security without altering host workflows.
