The PTR-15 is a 4K robotic pan-tilt head designed to convert fixed cameras into remotely controllable broadcast heads. It provides precise pan and tilt motion control and integrates virtual tracking via FreeD for studio and live production environments. The PTR-15 supports 4K50/60 video over 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 to maintain high-quality video signals.
Key features include smooth robotic pan and tilt motion, a maximum payload capacity of 4 kg, and support for camera parameter control such as iris and zoom. The unit supports genlock and timecode synchronization to ensure frame-accurate multi-camera workflows. Connectivity is comprehensive with dual 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 outputs, RS-232, RS-422, DVIP Ethernet, LANc, LANC, tally and IR control. Control options include VISCA protocol, Datavideo RMC controllers, SHOWCAST 100 and serial or IP-based control. Power outputs provide selectable 12V or 24V D-Tap/DC options for a wide range of cameras.
