Description
The HT-FLARE-4 is a 1×4 HDMI splitter designed to distribute a single HDMI source to up to four displays while preserving high-resolution video and multichannel audio. It supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth, enabling consistent picture quality across multiple screens. This unit also supports HDCP and HDR to maintain compatibility with modern source devices and displays.
Key features include 18Gbps bandwidth, HDR support, and three selectable EDID handling modes that simplify source-to-display communication. The splitter provides both analog and optical extracted audio outputs for flexible audio routing and supports LPCM 7.1 plus major lossless/encoded formats. It also supports simultaneous downscaling so mixed-resolution display environments can be accommodated without changing the source settings.
Performance is engineered for professional AV environments – the HT-FLARE-4 handles 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 content and maintains signal integrity over standard HDMI cables up to the specified distance. HDCP 2.2/1.4 compatibility ensures protected content plays back correctly, and HDR support improves contrast and color accuracy. The device operates with low power consumption and passive cooling in a compact enclosure.
Connectivity includes one HDMI input and four HDMI outputs, plus extracted analog and optical audio outputs for integration with external audio systems. The splitter supports common HDMI cable types and connectors and works with a wide range of source devices and displays. Three EDID handling modes help resolve handshake and compatibility issues between sources and multiple displays.
Typical applications include digital signage, retail displays, conference rooms, control rooms, and residential home theater setups that require the same source on multiple screens. The HT-FLARE-4 is suitable where a mix of 4K and 1080p displays must be used together, as well as where separate audio extraction is needed for sound systems. Its compact footprint allows placement near source equipment or inside AV racks when needed.
Installation is straightforward and requires minimal configuration for most installations – connect the source, plug in displays, select EDID mode as required, and power the unit. The compact metal housing and included 5V/2A adapter provide reliable operation and physical durability for continuous use. Firmware stability and simple operation reduce setup time and ongoing maintenance.
