The RTS PH-88 is a single-sided lightweight headset designed for extended wear and reliable voice capture. It provides daylong comfort through a super lightweight construction and a cushioned moleskin-covered ear pad. The headset balances isolation and comfort to keep the user focused during long shifts.

The headset features a semi-rigid adjustable gooseneck with a dynamic noise-canceling microphone for precise mic placement and clean voice pickup. High-quality wide band dynamic earphones deliver clear audio with a measured speaker sensitivity of 109dB. The earphone covering improves fit and passive isolation to enhance perceived frequency response.

Technical performance includes a microphone sensitivity of -65 and a microphone impedance of 200 ohm for reliable signal levels in comms applications. The headset overall impedance is specified at 300 ohm and employs dynamic speaker elements for consistent audio response.
