Description
The PH-1 is a single-sided medium-weight headset designed for talkback and communication environments. It features foam-filled cushions that provide a light feel and moderate isolation from ambient noise. The headset is built to balance operator comfort and clear vocal pickup.
Key features include full foam cushions, a dynamic noise-canceling microphone and a continuously adjustable ball-joint boom. The single-sided design reduces cable routing complexity and keeps one ear open to the environment when needed. Cable length is 5.5 ft to allow comfortable movement at a headset station.
Acoustic performance includes a speaker frequency response of 100 Hz – 10 kHz and a speaker sensitivity of 95 dB. The microphone is a dynamic noise-canceling type with a frequency response of 200 Hz – 6 kHz, mic sensitivity of -65 and mic impedance of 150. The headset overall presents an impedance of 300 for compatibility with common intercom and audio systems.
Connectivity is available via multiple connector options including A4F, stripped wire, A4M and A5M to suit different amplifier and system inputs. The standard A4F connector option simplifies integration with RTS-compatible systems. The 5.5 ft cord provides standard reach for most desk and console setups.
This headset is suited to production booths, broadcast talkback, intercom stations and field production where clear speech and operator comfort are required. Its moderate isolation and noise-canceling mic help maintain intelligibility in noisy environments. The single-sided layout keeps one ear available for awareness or monitoring.
Built for repeated use, the PH-1 combines foam-filled cushions and a robust boom assembly for extended operational life. The ball-joint mic mount allows continuous adjustability for accurate placement and consistent voice pickup. Setup and integration are straightforward thanks to common connector options and a standard cord length.
