Description
The LRC-1060-B is a passive column loudspeaker designed for fixed installation and certified to EN54-24 standards. It provides focused vertical coverage and wide horizontal dispersion to deliver clear speech intelligibility in public address and emergency voice alarm systems. The column format keeps the profile slim for unobtrusive placement.
The speaker houses six 2.5 in full-range drivers and two 2.5 in passive radiators to extend low frequency response and increase output. It offers 130 deg horizontal coverage and a symmetrical 20 deg vertical dispersion pattern for controlled coverage across seating areas and corridors. A factory-installed transformer supports 70 V and 100 V constant-voltage lines for distributed installations.
Measured frequency response reaches down to 70 Hz at -10 dB and extends to 15 kHz, with a peak sound pressure level of 122 dB at 1 m. Nominal impedance is 8 ohms for low-impedance operation and power handling is rated at 100 W continuous and 200 W program. The unit includes EV Automatic Saturation Compensation to preserve low-frequency response when the transformer is engaged.
Connectivity is provided via a 4-pin Euroblock connector with input and pass-through wiring and supports up to 12 AWG cable. Transformer taps include 60 W, 30 W, 15 W, 8 W and 4 W on the 70 V line and 60 W, 30 W, 15 W and 8 W on the 100 V line. Mounting uses the supplied SwifTilt multi-angle tilt and pan bracket for rapid alignment and aiming.
Typical applications include voice evacuation, background music, speech reinforcement, and distributed audio in retail, hospitality, houses of worship, and transit hubs. The EN54 certification makes it suitable for use in life-safety voice alarm systems where required. The IP55 rated weather enclosure also supports outdoor exposed installations when specified.
Installation is simplified by the included tilt and pan bracket, pre-installed M8 eyebolt, and weather gland cover. The slim cabinet is available in signal black and signal white finishes to blend with architectural requirements. Pairing with Dynacord DSP and amplifiers ensures optimized presets, system protection and ease of integration into networked audio systems.
