The BTR-80N is a 2-channel frequency-agile UHF intercom base station designed to enable multi-user wireless communications in constrained RF environments. It provides full-duplex operation and supports up to four wireless beltpacks simultaneously while also offering a talk/listen headset station at the base. The unit is optimized for live production, broadcast, and event communications where reliable wireless intercom is required.
Key features include Enhanced ClearScan two-button frequency selection, combination tone-code and RF noise squelch, and DSP digital audio processing to preserve intelligibility. The front panel headset station provides separate headset and boom-mic volume and gain controls for a fifth simultaneous user.
