The BTR-800 is a UHF synthesized wireless intercom base station designed to provide reliable full-duplex communications in professional AV and broadcast environments. It operates as a frequency-agile base that supports up to four beltpacks and delivers two separate intercom audio channels. The unit is rackmountable or usable on a tabletop and includes a backlit LCD for monitoring beltpack status.

Battery life for beltpacks is approximately 12 hrs using standard alkaline batteries.
Connectivity includes level-adjustable 4-wire input and output, adjustable auxiliary input and output, a microphone input, and local headset output. The base uses an IEC AC power inlet for 100-240 VAC operation and standard TNC antenna connectors for supplied 1/2-wave antennas. The system interfaces with Audiocom, RTS Two-Wire, Clear-Com and other four-wire intercom systems for direct integration into existing infrastructure.
Typical uses include live events, broadcast productions, theater stage management, and venue communications where robust wireless intercom and two-channel separation are required. The two audio channels enable combined party line and private communications within a single beltpack. The SA relay and talk-around functions allow on-site announce and backup communication paths when wired systems are unavailable.
