Description

The SoundTube MCA7004T is a Dante-enabled four-channel power amplifier designed for networked commercial audio installations. It combines Dante audio-over-IP inputs with flexible fixed-resistance and fixed-voltage outputs to address multi-zone and distributed audio systems. The unit provides high output power and integrated DSP to support complex system requirements.

The amplifier delivers up to 700W per channel at 4 ohms and supports bridged and constant-voltage modes for 70V and 100V speaker lines. Onboard DSP includes compressor, limiter, noise gate, parametric equalization, matrix routing and delay to shape and protect audio across zones. A front-panel 4.3 inch LCD touchscreen allows fast access to gain, input matrixing and output mode selection.

Performance specifications include a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response at 1W of +/-1dB, THD+N of 0.05% or less at 1/8 power, and an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of 96dB or greater. The amplifier has a damping coefficient of 200 or higher at 8 ohms and isolation of 95dB at 1kHz for clean channel separation. Maximum power consumption with all channels driven using pink noise is 1020W and 720W at one-eighth power.

Connectivity includes Dante network audio, AES3 digital inputs and Euroblock balanced/unbalanced analog inputs. Output configurations support stereo/matrix operation, bridged channels and fixed-voltage 70V and 100V modes to suit a range of loudspeaker systems. Input sensitivity and resistance options allow matching to different signal sources and preamps.

Typical applications include distributed background and foreground music, multi-zone paging and audio distribution in hospitality, retail, corporate and worship environments.
