Description
The DSM-16 is a 16×16 system manager designed to manage Dante endpoint-to-endpoint distributed audio networks. It provides embedded digital signal processing and flexible routing for whole-site audio distribution. The product targets installers who need centralized control and per-zone management.
The unit features a full 16×16 matrix, integrated DSP and a web server with three access tiers. The web UI exposes an Installer level for full configuration, a Zone user level for source selection and volume control, and an Admin level for zone source and level management. These control tiers simplify multi-user deployments while maintaining secure configuration control.
Technically the DSM-16 supports PoE+ and includes a 24V DC power supply option, as well as compatibility with 40W PoE sources. The chassis is steel and rack-friendly, with compact rack height and standard mounting hardware included. Physical dimensions and shipping details are provided for planning rack and crate logistics.
Connectivity includes Dante network audio endpoints and standard control via the embedded web server. The unit ships with a 6-pin euroblock for audio or control I O and includes mounting hardware and the power supply. Networked audio systems can be integrated using Dante-enabled devices and standard IT infrastructure.
Typical applications include distributed paging systems, multi-zone background music and enterprise AV where centralized DSP and matrix routing are required. The DSM-16 is suited to small installed systems as well as larger distributed audio networks that require zone-level control. It combines network audio routing with per-zone DSP for consistent audio performance.
Installation is straightforward using the web-based Installer UI and standard rack mounting hardware. The steel enclosure provides durable protection in AV racks and equipment rooms. Firmware and network configuration are handled through the embedded server to streamline commissioning and long-term maintenance.
