The CM82-BGM-II is an 8 inch coaxial two-way in-ceiling speaker engineered to deliver wideband music and paging reproduction. It integrates an 8 inch polypropylene woofer and a 1 inch silk dome tweeter in a drawn steel backcan with a tuned port. The enclosure design provides extended low-frequency output and controlled dispersion for installed audio systems.

Key features include a six-position tap selector for 25 V / 70.7 V / 100 V transformer operation and a transformer bypass position for direct low-impedance use. The driver combination and a tuned port yield a usable frequency response of 45 Hz – 22 kHz (±10 dB) and a measured sensitivity that reduces amplifier requirements. The BroadBeam Ring TM at the tweeter improves mid-range clarity and broadens off-axis performance.
