Description
The flush mount adapter is an in-wall insert designed to conceal a Beam sound bar while maintaining full access and serviceability. This adapter installs flush with 1/2″ drywall and is supplied unpainted so it becomes part of the finished wall. The design preserves the sound bar’s operation while hiding its chassis behind a fabric grille.
Key features include paintable MDF construction, magnetic grille attachment, and knockouts for installing UK or US backboxes and sockets. The grille fabric is acoustic and IR transparent to preserve audio fidelity and remote control operation. The white grille option is offered in Leaves or Rectangles patterns and a black cloth option is also available.
Technical specifications include overall dimensions of 1080.6mm x 271.8mm x 152.8mm and a net weight of 4.3Kg 9.5lbs. The adapter is constructed from moisture resistant MDF compliant with TSCA Title VI for indoor installations. The unit is supplied unassembled and intended for installation procedures similar to standard drywall construction.
Connectivity and compatibility are achieved through built-in knockouts sized for UK BS4662 2 Gang or US HUBBELL Racobox 420 backboxes or equivalents. An alternate SKU is available for EU/IL backbox installations. The adapter is designed specifically to preserve high fidelity audio output when used with a Beam sound bar unit.
Typical applications include residential media walls, custom AV installations, conference spaces, and retail audio displays where a concealed sound bar aesthetic is required. The adapter supports clean wall integration while providing easy removal and reinstallation of the sound bar for service. It allows designers and installers to match wall finish and texture by painting the adapter after installation.
Installation is straightforward for qualified installers familiar with drywall work and common electrical backboxes. The grille attaches magnetically for tool-free removal and reattachment and the adapter includes knockouts for US and UK backbox and socket placement. Installation instructions are provided under document 10-04-00101-INS to guide template cutting and assembly steps.
