The Galil 4-O on-wall compact speaker pair is a 2-way loudspeaker system designed for fixed installations where discreet, wall-mounted audio is required. It combines a 4″ polypropylene woofer and a 0.5″ Mylar tweeter for balanced speech and background-music reproduction. The enclosure and hardware are engineered for reliable long-term installation in commercial spaces.

Key features include a multi-tap transformer that supports 70V and 100V distributed audio systems as well as an 8 Ohm low-impedance bypass. The speakers deliver 20W RMS power handling and 60W continuous program capability, offering a consistent output for paging and background music. A sensitivity of 89dB and a continuous SPL of 95dB ensure adequate loudness in typical conference and hospitality spaces.

Performance is specified from 90Hz to 20kHz at -10dB and 160Hz to 16kHz at +/-3dB, with a 6kHz crossover frequency that controls the handoff between woofer and tweeter. Directional characteristics are moderate with a directivity factor Q of 4 and a directivity index of 6dB averaged from 1kHz to 10kHz.
