Description

The IPEG-D40F-IRW2 is a 4MP starlight IP vandal dome camera designed to deliver continuous surveillance in indoor and outdoor environments. It combines a 2.8mm wide angle lens with a starlight image sensor to maintain color at very low light levels. The camera provides day and night imaging with Smart IR illumination to extend low-light coverage.

Key features include a 4MP 2688 x 1520 sensor, Smart H.265+ stream management, and Smart IR that reaches up to 98ft. The fixed 2.8mm lens yields a 107deg diagonal field of view for broad scene coverage. The camera supports multiple video compression formats including H.265, H.264, and MJPEG for flexible recording options.

On the technical side the camera uses a 1/3″ 4 megapixel progressive CMOS sensor and supports resolutions up to 2688 x 1520 at up to 30 fps. Low light sensitivity is rated to 0.03 lux in color and 0.003 lux in B/W with the IR illuminator offering 98.43 ft range. Wide dynamic range is supported at 120dB and 3D DNR reduces noise while preserving detail.

Connectivity includes a 10/100Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet port and support for IPv4/IPv6, RTSP, ONVIF Profile S/T, P2P and CGI for NVR and VMS integration. The camera supports PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC power and offers FTP edge storage. It is compatible with common web browsers and iOS/Android mobile viewers for remote access.

This vandal dome is suited to retail, transit, education, and facility perimeter monitoring where a discreet vandal-resistant camera is required. Typical deployments include entrance coverage, corridor surveillance, parking area overview, and interior high-traffic points.
