The XT850-LED is an 8 in 2-way outdoor lighted speaker engineered to provide full-range music and paging for landscape and exterior venues. It integrates LED pathway illumination with a sealed in-ground speaker enclosure to deliver extended low-frequency response and consistent on-axis performance. The system is weather-resistant and built for continuous outdoor operation.
Integrated omni-directional LED strips under the enclosure provide warm 3000K pathway lighting and connect to standard 12V landscape lighting transformers. The acoustic design pairs an 8 in polypropylene woofer and 1 in aluminum dome tweeter in a sealed enclosure to achieve a wide frequency range and accurate voice reproduction. A weatherproof 5-position tap switch supports 25V / 70.7V / 100V distributed audio systems plus a transformer bypass for 4 Ohm direct drive.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 38 Hz to 22 kHz at +/-10 dB and 51 Hz to 10 kHz at +/-3 dB, a 3.0 kHz crossover frequency, and a 1.26 in low-frequency voice coil. The speaker is rated 100W RMS continuous with 200W program power and a sensitivity of 85 dB at 1W/1M. Nominal impedance is 4 Ohm with a minimum impedance of 3.7 Ohm to support a range of amplifiers and system designs.
Connectivity is via wire leads for audio and a separate 12V feed for the LED strips, allowing the LEDs to be powered like standard landscape lighting. The LED circuit is compatible with third-party dimmer switches and may be run in parallel on a single transformer based on transformer capacity. Transformer tap options and a weatherproof tap switch provide flexible integration into 25V / 70.7V / 100V systems and low-impedance installations.
